Foto & Fable

By placing an order with Foto & Fable, you agree to the Terms of Purchase set out below. These terms apply to all sales and form a binding agreement between you and Foto & Fable.

Ordering

All orders are subject to acceptance and confirmation. A valid email address must be provided so that we can confirm receipt of your order and provide updates. Orders may only be placed by individuals legally capable of entering binding contracts under applicable law. Orders may only be combined for children attending the same school and cannot be mixed across schools. You are responsible for safeguarding your account details, and all activities conducted under your account will be deemed your responsibility.

Pricing

All prices are stated in AED and relate to the complete items contained in the selected package. We take care to ensure that pricing is accurate, but errors may occur. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, Foto & Fable reserves the right to refuse or cancel the order. Any payment made in such circumstances will be refunded in full, and we will attempt to contact you using the information provided.

Cancellation of Orders

Because our products are customised and individually produced, orders generally cannot be cancelled once production has begun. If you wish to cancel, you must contact us immediately after placing your order to determine whether cancellation is possible. Foto & Fable will decide whether an order has already been processed. No refunds or exchanges will be issued where an order has been correctly produced according to the details supplied by you. Dissatisfaction with stylistic elements, such as image effects, edits, or filters, does not constitute grounds for refund or exchange. Foto & Fable is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, labour disputes, utility failures, or government restrictions. Orders already placed and paid for will not be refunded or cancelled in such circumstances. If schools are closed due to government measures, parents may choose home delivery for an additional cost.

Faulty or Missing Orders

If you receive a faulty or damaged product, Foto & Fable will replace it with an identical item. If replacement is not possible, a full refund will be provided. You must notify us of defects within fourteen days of delivery. If an order is missing and is not listed on the delivery note, Foto & Fable will reproduce the package free of charge, provided you notify us within fourteen days of the original delivery date. Claims made after this period may incur a reproduction fee.

Late Orders

Orders placed after the designated ordering window may still be accepted, subject to a late order fee of AED 15. Such orders are usually delivered to the school reception within three to four weeks, depending on the season.

Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of order. By providing your credit card details, you confirm that the card is valid and lawfully belongs to you. Foto & Fable does not store card details. All payments are processed via secure, PCI DSS–compliant third-party providers. Foto & Fable is not liable for unauthorised transactions or breaches occurring outside its systems.

Delivery

Orders are dispatched once payment has been received. Delivery may be made to the school or, where permitted, to a home address at additional cost. Delivery is normally completed within four weeks. Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility passes to the customer. Foto & Fable bears no liability for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party delivery services. Claims must be made within fourteen days of the expected delivery date.

Class and Group Photos

In line with our child safeguarding policy, class and group photographs are provided only in printed form and will not be released digitally.

Privacy and Data Protection

Foto & Fable complies with UAE data protection regulations and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By placing an order, you consent to Foto & Fable processing your personal data solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. Children’s images are stored securely and are accessible only to authorised parents or guardians through unique access codes. Personal data will only be shared with third parties where strictly necessary, such as with payment processors or couriers.

Use of Images and Licensing

All photographs remain the intellectual property of Foto & Fable. Images purchased are licensed solely for personal, non-commercial use. They may not be reproduced, resold, modified, distributed, or otherwise exploited without prior written consent.

Digital Products

Where digital images are made available, download links will remain active for at least fourteen days following purchase. Digital products are provided for personal use only and may not be shared publicly, copied, or redistributed. Foto & Fable cannot guarantee reactivation of expired links and accepts no liability for failure to download within the available timeframe.

Complaints and Disputes

Complaints relating to proofs or delivered products must be submitted within fourteen days of receipt. Foto & Fable will attempt to resolve complaints promptly and fairly. These Terms of Purchase shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai courts.

General

Foto & Fable may amend these Terms of Purchase at any time without prior notice. The version published on the website at the time of order shall apply. Foto & Fable is registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
